Grambling recruiting: Oklahoma OL Nic Nealy commits; see video

by: Nick Deriso January 29, 2010 , 9:33 am (CT)

Oklahoma City offensive lineman Nic Nealy (6-2, 270; Douglass High) is Grambling’s second confirmed commitment, following Charlotte, N.C., quarterback Anthony Carrothers who pledged to play for fourth-year coach Rod Broadway earlier this week.

Academically eligible with a 3.0 GPA, the slightly undersized but talented Nealy was named All-State by the Oklahoman after helping Douglass to another monster year of rushing the football. Over the past two years, his Trojans have run for more than 8,600 yards. That included a pair of 1,000-yard rushers in 2009.

National Signing Day is next Wednesday.
