New video: ‘The Tackle,’ by Grambling’s Christian Anthony

During Saturday’s win over Southland Conference foe Northwestern State, Grambling’s Christian Anthony made a series of game-changing plays. Two of them led to touchdowns. Yet none was more memorable for many fans than the play I’ve dubbed “The Tackle” — at the time, I said: “Chris Anthony picks up the rusher and flings him to the ground like a ragdoll” — which we’ve got video of tonight …

Update: Anthony was named national Football Championship Subdivision defensive player of the week by The Sports Network in honor of his performance against Northwestern State, which also included two interceptions — which led to 14 points for Grambling.
