Oklahoma State has officially released its 2009 football slate, confirming a long talked-about contest against Grambling. The date: Saturday, Sept. 26, in Stillwater’s Boone Pickens Stadium.
Grambling is one of seven teams on the OSU slate that won 10 or more games last season, including Georgia, Rice, Missouri, Texas, Texas Tech and Oklahoma. GSU was 11-2 on the way to Bayou Classic and then Southwestern Athletic Conference Championship Game victories.
“It will be another challenging schedule,” Oklahoma State coach coach Mike Gundy said in the release. “Everyone knows about the strength of the Big 12 Conference, but we play some good teams right out of the gate. We’re excited to play eight home games for the first time in school history.”
OSU shot out of the gate in 2008, starting 7-0 and earning a No. 7 spot in the AP poll, but then slipped to 9-4 and No. 16. A loss to Oregon in the Holiday Bowl concluded its 2008 season.

Oh well…so much for hoping that OSU would pull out of this game which would have given the G-Men a nice payout.
Look like a trip to Stillwater is in my future.
I AM A MAN thanks Gundy given GSU fans sumthing to talk about
Hopefully there will not be many injuries from this game 1 week prior to the State Fair Classic.
